Harmony’s Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT) remove the appearance of spots and pigmentation by targeting the melanin in the darkened area, clearing all layers of the pigmentation and revealing even-toned, unblemished skin.
The SR 570nm handpiece is used for skin rejuvenation, photo-damage, uneven skin tone, and fine lines.
Using the SR 570 nm wavelength the energy is absorbed by the melanin chromophore inducing selective photothermolysis this causes disruption of the pigment filled cells. After treatments the lesions will darken and may appear more obvious before they fade and ‘flake’ away.
Rather than delivering a pulse with multiple wavelengths, many of which are outside the therapeutic range, AFT converts unused UV light to the optimal spectrum for more effective treatment. This energy is then channelled into a pulse with equal distribution fluence, whereby uniform energy with controlled peak power is delivered throughout the entire pulse.
