Semi Permanent makeup imitates your normal, applied cosmetics, and can create beautifully natural-looking results that can be as subtle or as dramatic looking as you wish.
The look is created by depositing hypo-allergenic specialist pigments into the upper dermal layers of your skin using a micro sized sterile needle. They will then remain there semi permanently and the results will then fade gradually over 1-3 years. A “colour boost” is recommended every 12 months to maintain a fresh appearance.
Advanced Blemish Removal

Small blemishes on the skin can feel surprisingly upsetting. They may be harmless, yet when they are visible, they can quietly affect how we feel about ourselves.
Before treating any blemish, your safety always comes first. I highly recommend that any new, changing or concerning mark is checked by your GP or dermatologist.
If time is an issue, I can carefully assess the area using a dermatoscope and, where appropriate, arrange for it to be reviewed by a dermatologist. Once we have the all-clear, we can move forward with confidence and choose the most suitable treatment for your skin.
At Waterside Aesthetics, I use Advanced Cosmetic Procedures (ACP) - a safe, gentle and time-honoured method for treating a wide range of superficial skin blemishes. It has been used for many years and remains one of the most effective ways to remove unwanted imperfections with precision and care.
This treatment works using a very fine probe and a controlled diathermy current. A small amount of heat is delivered to the blemish, allowing me to treat the area with accuracy while protecting the surrounding skin.
Each blemish is unique, and the way I treat it will always depend on its type, size and location. For example, when treating a skin tag, I carefully select the appropriate needle and level of heat to safely interrupt its blood supply. The tag may be removed immediately, or it may naturally dry and fall away over the following few days.
Treatments are designed to be as comfortable as possible and to support your skin’s natural healing response. In some cases, a course of treatments may be recommended to achieve the very best outcome.

Laser Tattoo Removal

Description:
Unwanted dark and multi-coloured tattoos can be safely and effectively eliminated with Harmony’s laser tattoo removal treatment. Using a combination of laser wavelengths that target different ink colours.
Good for: Suitable for all skin types (I-VI)
Unwanted Tattoos, Amateur tattoos, Professional tattoos, Medical tattoos, some cosmetic tattoos, and traumatic tattoos.
Treatments Required: Minimum of 4 treatments required, up to 12 may be needed depending on the colour combinations.

Downtime:
Erythema (redness) and oedema (swelling) will be seen after treatment, with moderate bruising, scabbing. Occasionally blistering can also occur. Most side effects will recover in approximately 5 -10 days.

Getting rid of unwanted hair is an age-old issue, with long-term hair removal being particularly challenging. Harmony’s SHR hair removal method uses Alma’s ground breaking technology to offer a simple, one-stop solution for truly effective hair removal.

Best results will be seen on darker thicker hair types.
Treatments Required:
On average 6 -8 treatments are required but more may be needed depending on indications at the start. Client will benefit from maintenance.

Once every 4 weeks on the face
Once every 6 weeks on the Body
Downtime: Minimal to none.
Very rarely some mild erythema and oedema may be seen for up to 2 days.
