Your consultation – Yes, I highly recommend a consultation as It is always so important to be prepared for your Mezotix journey. This is also an opportunity to make a plan to ensure you get the best results 

Your experience – I like to take before and after pictures so we can record your Mezotix Skin Journey. After a cooling cleanse I prepare the skin for the warm thermal skin treatment. It can sometimes feel a bit hot & spicy but the heat normally just lasts for around 4 hours after treatment. It will also start to feel tight which is a great sign that we are achieving our skin tightening goals

Your comfort – Some clients find the treatment likened to microneedling, where you feel the heat but not pain. I have a lovely cooling fan which blows cool air on the skin during treatment.  You will be given products to use after the treatment to support the skin during the first 3 days

Gentle considerations – As we are working with Thermal energy you may look pink or flushed, some even look a little red for a day or 2, so it is always best to create your social calendar around this time

Your recovery – On the day of the treatment you will not be using any products after the treatment. Day 2 you will be given aftercare products to cleanse and soothe the skin, same for day 3. Day 4 you will be ready to go back to using your daily product routine with the addition of sunscreen and makeup.

Caring for your skin – Please stop the use of active ingredients such as Retinols, AHA’s & BHA’s 7 days prior and post treatment. Arrive makeup free, no oils or hair products. Avoid sun exposure, tanning products or peels for 3-5 days. Stay well hydrated. Avoid Botox or Fillers 2 weeks prior and post treatment. After the treatment you may experience some skin flaking, temporary darkening of pigmented spots which fade away. Avoid hot baths or shower for 24 hrs post treatment. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24/48hrs post treatment. Avoid swimming and sauna for 7 days.

Your results – For the best results I would recommend a course of treatments between 3 – 6. Each appointment will be around 6 weeks apart. We can personalise this during your consultation.
